This process will undoubtedly plunge the earth into complete catastrophe. The creatures in the world will be unable to adapt to unexpected dramatic climate change and go mass extinction. There will be more volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, landslides and other phenomena. Some asteroids will fly towards the earth. The magnetosphere will be weakened, so the cosmic radiation from the sun will increase, and ultimately may cause disaster to humans. The gravity will also change. It is alleged that last incident occurred in the prehistoric era of dinosaur extinction.

Sakyamuni Buddha mentioned, in this Dharma Vanishing Era, the Buddhist Dharma would be extinguished in the degeneration world of Five Defilements, as if an extinction of light. Disasters and plagues would be rampant in the world. However, the Buddha also predicted, an enlightened sage would disseminate three kinds of Esoteric Dharma on a holy mountain in the West. Buddhist Dharma would be widely spread and bring new hope to the world.
In this Dharma Vanishing Era, Holy Ziguang Shang Shi instructs, “The end of the world can be changed. There is a power that can save our planet, and that is God's power, the power of Buddha, the power of the Five Great Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from Ten Directions, and the power of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the Space Realm. To postpone the extinction of the world, to prolong the life of the planet, we need everyone to work together, pray together, and call for the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and God's salvation. Everyone should have kind heart, do virtuous deeds, and practice Guang Huan Mi Zong Health Dharma that can save lives, so they can have the opportunity to be saved by the Five Great Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from Ten Directions, and have the opportunity to escape from the catastrophe. Guang Huan Mi Zong Health Dharma is the hope for all sentient beings, and the hope for the earth."
