The most respectable Master Ziguang Shang Shi,

My name is Guangyong Chen; I’m from Sichuan. My wife Suming Lin and I went to Hong Kong for the Converted Student Dharma Convention of Guang Huan Mi Zong in January 4. I had hereditary hypertension and my blood pressure had been high since I was in the high school. I had been dependent on medication in past decades. Due to the congenital deficiency, I got tuberculosis when I was in the high school. I have been coughing after the tuberculosis calcified during the past decades. It was diagnosed as cough variant asthma (CVA) by Sichuan Hospital; the effect of any medication intake wasn’t obvious or long lasting. I also got encephalitis forty years ago; when the doctor treated me with lumbar puncture, some of my nerves were hurt accidentally, and resulted atrophy in my left leg. In addition, it was always cold and even freezing in winter as if soaking in the ice water. It was miserable for me.

I have been looking for the way of well-being because of my weakness during the past decades. I studied medicine but the medication couldn’t take away the root of the problem, and the side effect of the medicine caused more harm to my body. I practiced many types of Qi Gong, and also converted to Zen Buddhism in the Temple of Manjusri Bodhisattva. But the blood pressure went up and the cough became more serious. When I was desperate, my old classmate Wu Youxiu introduced Guang Huan Mi Zong Dharma to me. I came to Hong Kong for the course of Converted Student with the idea of giving a try. Just in a few days, my blood pressure became normal. I felt very comfortable with a clear mind after 30 minutes’ practice. Now I only need to take two tablets of Reserpine and stop the expensive medicine that I used to take, which cost me over three hundred dollars per month for reducing high blood pressure.

I felt my chest bloated at the beginning of the autumn this year. I coughed and became anxious about it as I knew that CVA came back again. I asked Wu Youxiu for advice, and she told me to practice the secret Dharma imparted by Master Ziguang Shang Shi for detoxification. After I practiced around ten minutes or more, I felt the gastrointestinal peristalsis increased, and I defecated four times in that afternoon, then the chest was not bloated. According to the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the lung dominates the function of dispersion and descent, once the qi of lung descents, the chest was not bloated any more. The more miraculous thing is, my left leg was not cold anymore in this colder winter in Sichuan this year, as if the wounded nerves were repaired.

Thus I have practiced Guang Huan Mi Zong less than one year, but all the severe chronic illness are all cured. How miraculous is that! It’s just like a dream! How grateful I am! I can’t be more thankful… My gratitude to Master Ziguang Shang Shi can’t be expressed by words. To show my gratitude to Master Ziguang Shang Shi, what I can do are doing more good deeds, helping more people through promoting Guang Huan Mi Zong, retaining more merits and attaining the Perfection at the end. After all the unbearable miseries in over forty years, eternal gratitude for the salvation to me shall be paid life after life!
